Dr. Salvatore J Tangredi

Salvatore Tangredi D.D.S., a dentist in Huntington, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974. Dr. Tangredi attended dental school at Columbia University and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1977. After graduating, he began a one year General Practice Residency at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. After the residency, Dr. Tangredi worked for the Suffolk County Health Department. His participation was in the care of indigent children and migrant workers. He also saw patients in the Suffolk County Correctional Facility. At the same time, Dr. Tangredi entered private practice with Dr. Francis Soviero here in Huntington. Dr. Soviero has since retired and Dr. Tangredi has continued the practice at the Green Street location for the past 28 years.

In addition to the Green Street office, he is chief of dental services at Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Tangredi is also on staff at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital and St. Charles Hospital. At St. Charles, he is Chief of the Section of Operative Dentistry. He serves on the board that directs and supervises the General Practice Residency. Dr. Tangredi teaches in the dental clinic once a month.
